Bronx Martial Arts Academy

Our Philosophy

At the Bronx Martial Arts Academy, we set high standards for ourselves and we challenge each other to achieve our best in all that we do. We train hard, train smart, and treat everyone with respect.

We believe that through the practice of martial arts, we become better people. Through effort and dedication, our martial arts training improves not only our lives, but also the lives of those around us.

Our Academy

What will you find at Bronx Martial Arts Academy?

At BMAA, you'll find world class instruction. Interested in learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu? We offer classes taught by two Renzo Gracie and John Danaher black belts. Our other BJJ instructors (a brown belt and a purple belt) were also awarded their belts from Renzo Gracie and John Danaher. Interested in learning Shotokan Karate? We offer classes taught by national and international champions.

At BMAA, you'll also find a friendly, safe training environment. Students develop as martial artists, gain self confidence, and improve their physical fitness in a family-type atmosphere. Moreover, our facility is brand new, furnished with top-of-the-line quality mats (Zebra® mats), and equipped with men's and women's locker rooms complete with showers. From our friendly, team atmosphere to our first-class facility, we have everything you need for a great training experience.

Our Challenge

Whether you are interested in competing or merely looking to improve your physical fitness, stop by and check us out. We're confident you'll find what you're looking for.
